Get to work! – FOMCA and MTUC tells politicians

G Rajasekaran, the secretary-general of the MTUC (Malaysian Trades Union Congress) has called on politicians to stop politicking and start working after a ‘long year’ since the March 8 elections. He said "The 12th GE will perhaps, go down in Malaysian history as the longest election rally. With so many claims and counter-claims by both sides, it was difficult for the common man to understand the actual situation," Muhammad Shaani Abdullah, the secretary-general of the Federation of Malaysian Consumers Association (FOMCA) also voiced a similar concern. He said "It is time that members of parliament and assemblymen be honest with themselves and contribute their services for which they were voted. It would be a great tragedy if the trust was abused”
